Moving "up north" brought me in touch with the beauty of the birch, mere ornamentals in my old home. Here they grace the woods and are incredibly striking in snowy landscapes.

These four acrylic paintings comprise a series of portraits of individual trees or rather, a family portrait. We are all related.
